ZIXA Strong is a dual-action analgesic that provides both heat and cold therapy to the affected areas at the same instant! Each pea-sized amount of Zixa Strong contains Pudina Satva (Menthol) that acts on the cold receptor (TRPM8) causing a cooling effect on local application. Similarly, Nilgiri oil (Eucalyptus oil) also has a modest activity on cold receptor producing cooling sensation. Gandhpura (Wintergreen oil) and turpentine oil mainly act as rubefacient and counter-irritant causing warmth due to vasodilation. The effect of Turpentine oil is similar to capsaicin in causing warmth and redness. The pain-relieving effect of turpentine oil is found similar to the use of topical capsaicin in neuropathic pain.

It is more effective for acute pain.
